RW/01/Overview·Per car, per track·Driver and Mechanic

Racers Workbook.

Every setup detail in one sheet, organized by car and by track — tire pressures, alignment, aero, brakes, drivetrain, safety, and pit prep. Each configuration tracks its own place in that car+track's history (Base, Update 1, Update 2…) so you always know where you are in the process, and can branch a new one from any saved baseline. A shareable code hands the exact same sheet to your mechanic on RaceTech, with zero driver login required.

Chassis

Tires & Alignment

Cold and hot pressure targets, camber, toe, tread depth, and tire allocation for every corner. Left/right fields match automatically, so setting one side fills the other unless you deliberately let them diverge.

Auto-matched L/R · Per corner

Handling

Aero, Springs & Brakes

Ride height, springs and anti-roll bars, damper clicks, aero balance, and brake bias — the full mechanical setup, not just tire numbers. Drivetrain, electronics, and engine/cooling get their own sections too.

Version Control

Base, Update 1, Update 2…

The first configuration for a car+track is always Base; every one after it is tagged Update 1, Update 2, and so on — automatically, separate from whatever you name it (Qualifying, Race, Rain). A "What Changed From Base" panel shows exactly what moved, field by field.

Notes & RaceTech Code

Every note is timestamped and tagged by who wrote it — driver or mechanic. Hand your mechanic a 5-digit RaceTech code and they see (and can update) the exact same sheet on their own device, no driver account required.

RW/03/System·How it works

One Sheet. Every Track.

  • 01
Pick a Car and TrackCreate a workbook sheet for the active car at any track in your My Tracks or the Known Tracks database. The first one for that car+track is automatically tagged Base.
  • 02
Fill In What MattersSixteen categories, from tires to weather notes — dropdowns for discrete settings, bounded number fields for physical values, checkboxes for pre-race and safety items. Nothing is required; each card shows how many fields you've filled.
  • 03
Branch a New ConfigurationNeed a Rain setup or a Qualifying trim? Create a new sheet on the same car+track, starting blank or copied from your current one as a baseline. It's automatically tagged the next Update number in that track's history.
  • 04
See What Changed From BaseEvery configuration after Base shows a live, field-by-field diff against it — so a driver three Updates deep can see exactly how far the setup has drifted from where they started.
  • 05
Leave Notes as You GoAdd timestamped notes to any configuration — a running log, not a single box that gets overwritten. Edit or delete your own entries anytime; deleted notes are hidden from view, never truly gone from your record.
  • 06
Hand It to Your MechanicEvery sheet gets its own 5-digit RaceTech code. Share it and your mechanic opens the same configuration on RaceTech — view, edit, and leave their own tagged notes — with no driver login, no app, nothing to set up.
